Celebrities Go Green At The 2009 Environmental Media Awards

[/caption]On hand for the honorous occasion were Amy Smart, Sir Richard Branson, Cedric the Entertainer, Kevin McHale from the Fox hit show Glee, Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Mraz, Michael Rady from Melrose Place and many other hot names in the entertainment business.

[/caption]Eight films and television programs were awarded for their outstanding contributions to protect our environment. Winners included Walt Disney Studios Earth, the film The Cove, the show Brothers and Sisters and also the children's animated Wild About Safety-Timon and Pumbaa: Safety Smart Goes Green.
The Environmental Media Association was founded by Lyn and Norman Lear and Cindy and Alan Horn back in 1989. Their main goal is to "honor film and television productions and individuals that increase public awareness of environmental issues and inspire personal action on these issues."
With the green movement continuing to receive Hollywood support, we're sure the EMA founders are proud.
