CNN Reporter Busted for Meth
Richard Quest, an international reporter for CNN, was arrested in New York City on Friday morning for possession of methamphetamines. New York City police officers approached Quest for being in Central Park after curfew. Quest told the police that he had a small amount of methamphetamines in his possession.Quest has agreed to six months of drug counseling and therapy instead of jail time. A lawyer for Quest stated that "[Quest] did not realize that the park had a curfew. He was returning to his friends hotel." I hope that every person in possession of methamphetamines gets the option of rehab instead of jail time; otherwise this is just another example of how the rich can get away with virtually anything.
