Shortly after the California Supreme court overturned the ban on gay marriage, Ellen DeGeneres announced on her show that she and girlfriend of 4 years hottie Portia De Rossi are getting married. Awww! Congrats you two!

I think I am going to cry! So sweet!

Portia came out shortly after her and Ellen started dating in 2004, and Ellen came out in 1997 on her sitcom Ellen and on the cover of Time magazine with the famous headline "Yep, I'm gay"

Just look at the happy couple, how could anybody be against this??? They are both so in love, why deny them the same rights that heteros have?

    I wonder what the straight celebrities think. Ellen and Portia are one of the prettier gay couples that I have seen.

    I know California overturned the ban so does that mean gay marriage is legal now? I'm confused... But you're right they are so cute!

    yep, means its legal they are free to get married =)
    so long as the prop on nov ballot doesnt take away their rights again
