Elwin Hope Wilson has done his fair share of hate crimes in his life and now that he is old and sick (he has diabetes and his eyes are degenerating) he claims to be turning over a new leaf.  He is apologizing for all his wrong doings which include; burning crosses, hanging a black doll in a noose in his drive way, throwing cantaloupe at black men walking down Main Street, and brutally beating a 21 year old black student at the bus station in 1961.  For me I think his list of dirty laundry is a little to long to forgive.  What do you think?
