Farrah Left Son $3M to Get Clean
Before she passed away of cancer last month, Farrah Fawcett ensured her son would turn his life around. She left Redmond with $3 million in order to help him turn his life away from drugs and drinking. Currently, he is serving time for drug offenses in a Los Angeles prison. But when he gets out, he will be awarded almost all of her $3.6 million fortune.Farrah put the money in a trust fund for her 24-year-old son. He will receive a monthly allowance which will help buy his own home. A source from the Daily Star News says: “Farrah appointed two trustees to make sure the money helps her son sober up rather than giving him the means to destroy himself. Redmond’s inheritance will be tightly controlled.”
This trust fund will go directly to Redmond and Redmond only. His father and her long-time companion, Ryan O'Neal, will not see a penny of the money. He has agreed to help their son in the fight of his life saying, "I will do everything in my power to honour her memory and to protect our son.”
