Hilary Duff Named Ambassador for Youth in Bogota

Hilary Duff has been named an ambassador for the youth in Bogota, Colombia. The mayor of Bogota announced that the newest Gossip Girl will arrive in Bogota sometime between August 1 to 15 as a guest of honor!

This honor came from Blessings in a Backpack, the charity Hilary has been an ambassador for quite some time. The charity is hoping to expand to new levels, such as encouraging participation in vaccination programs and promoting themselves in the Bogota community. 

Such a good cause!

    this is so random. what does being an ambassador of a country mean anyway? and what exactely do you have to do in order to become an ambassador?
