Hollywire Girls Party Like A Rockstar Weekend: Part 1

Luxury hotels, spa days, fine dining, and clubbing until everything is a beautiful blur... where else can you find all this but in Las Vegas?

The Water is Just For Show

The Hollywire Girls needed to "get outta dodge" for the weekend and could not be more elated by what we found in Sin City.

We, of course, found pieces of Hollywood all over Vegas, but this article is focused more on the star-like treatment that we encountered--so, what happened in Vegas isn't staying in Vegas this time around.

You know it's a great weekend when you vow, on six different occasions, never to drink again, only to find yourself with a cocktail at a blackjack table two hours later.

The weekend started off in the newly redesigned Mirage Hotel. This is definitely not the same Mirage of your parent's heyday.

Gone are the gaudy gold fixtures (aka "Trump Chic"). Everything from the rooms to the lobby have been modernized with sleek, clean lines, & high-tech touches galore.  And, if you're into cool Asian-themed decor, like myself, this is now the place for you.

Be sure to bring your laptops & iPods cuz they make it easy to throw mini pre-parties in your room with your own music and videos.

There's media hubs, iPod docks... you know you'd make use of those before heading out for the night! (The iPod dock also serves as a charger for your iPhone in case you forget it at home--like Syndeee did!).

Friday evening started off with a casual but delicious dinner at BLT Burger inside Mirage (the former White Tiger Den). The eatery is playful with their twists on the classic burger, fry and milkshake fare.

We started off with a "Berry Me" milkshake & Blue Moon on tap. They also offer spiked milkshakes should you choose to combine your milkshake and alcohol.  In my case, I thought I should save my drinking adventures for after dinner.

The American Kobe burger was divine. Cover up that baby with a fried egg and some bacon (pictured here) and you're good to go.  I'm not going to show you the aftermath of my attempt to finish the burger, but suffice it to say... the burger did not stand a chance.

After recovering from mild food coma, we headed off to Revolution.

Revolution is an Ultra Lounge that is themed in connection to "Love" (The Beatles Cirque Du Soleil Show).  Bottle service at Revolution is a must. You're escorted past the line and into your own personal booth just off the dance floor where you can check out all the action but still have some privacy to socialize with your friends.

The club's service is impeccable. You'll never find yourself without a perfectly mixed drink in front of you, but I warn you this could be part of your demise the next morning... but you're having a hell of a time so who cares, right!?!

After a vodka-Redbull, I started to settle into my surroundings. I observed there's little nostalgia (unless you want to count the scantily clad school girl go-go dancers) in relation to the Beatles theme.

The club is about reinventing and... dare I say it... revolutionizing the forward thinking and essence of what the Beatles meant to our parents/grandparents generation.   What I mean is this:

When I hear 'Beatles' I picture goofy hair, bell bottom pants, peace signs, happy hippies, & love, love, love...well the love & happiness is definitely there, but instead, it's ultra-modernized.

It's very high-tech, mixed in with an ultra-swank, vibrant vibe.  It's so hard to describe, you just gotta go experience it for yourself!  You WILL NOT be disappointed...in fact, there's even more to tell you about Revolution...

Ok... maybe I'm getting too deep here, or maybe I've just discovered the best thing ever sitting right in front me--the interactive light table.  These tables are exclusively at Revolution.  No other club has them.

The left side of the table is where you can write and draw.  It's pressure sensitive and has a few different designs.  Sensors above you follow the ash trays.  You can use them to clear what you've just drawn on the side.  You can also move your designs from the tables to projections on the walls.  There's a million different things you can do.  It's a trip, especially after a few drinks!

Between the bumpin' music, attentive staff, dancing, good company, and drinking we truly had a memorable night that will go down in Hollywire history.

(Saturday morning, however, is another story... one I would've liked to have skipped over but the massive hangover was well worth it...it's hard work party'n like a rockstar!)
