Move over Emeril Lagasse... step aside Wolfgang. Haute cuisine is no longer dominated by stodgy middle aged chefs. Today's culinary landscape has changed in recent years to include some serious hotties. These top 5 celebrity chefs are both easy on the eyes and able to satisfy you with a gourmet meal. Duck sous vide with a side of six pack abs... YES please!
Our #5 celebrity chef is 34 year old Govind Armstrong. Govind started his career at age 13 at celebrity hot spot Spago and was eventually mentored by Wolfgang Puck. After running Postrio in New York (another Wolfgang Puck restaurant), he spent several years traveling in Europe, working under other talented chefs, and refining his pallet. He started his first restaurant Chadwick in 2000 in LA. His newest restaurant is Table 8 which is getting rave reviews and plenty of celebrity fans. Armstrong is best known in the culinary world for re-invented and elevating late night comfort foods. Oprah sent her best friend Gail to LA to try his Grilled Cheese with Pulled Pork Rib sandwich. It was to die for.
#4 food hottie is Rocco DiSpirito. You may remember him from the NBC reality show "The Restaurant." This 42 year old chef/restauranteur sometimes comes off as cocky, but at the end of the day a man that loves his mom as much as Rocco is a true sweetheart. Rocco learned to cook from his mother Nicolin and attended the Culinary Institute of America at age 16. He worked in several high profile restaurants in New York and Boston before opening his first restaurant "Union Pacific" in New York Cirt. Rocco has been working on several cookbooks in recent years and can be see as a guest judge on this season of Top Chef.
#3 culinary cutie is Dave Lieberman. Dave Lieberman, 28, grew up watching his father cook and brought his love of food all the way to Yale where he started his own on campus catering company. (Smart? Check. Good looking? Check. Loves to cook? Check. Is he taken?!?!?) His mission is to bring gourmet cuisine to cash strapped young college age kids. His show "Good Deal with Dave Lieberman" on the Food Network highlights easy budget friendly recipes and practical entertaining ideas. Dave currently lives in New York and is working as a personal chef in addition to starring in his Food Network show.
#2 on the list is So Cal chef Brian Malarkey. Brian Malarkey, 34, is a San Diego, CA native and executive at Oceanaire Seafood Room. It's not hard to deduce that his specialty is seafood related cuisine. He impressed the judges on Top Chef season 3 and made it to the final four. So how did this relatively unknown reality star chef make it to #2 on the list?

He tried time and time again to meet time, budget, and human resource constraints to give these kids a meal with fresh ingrediants that they would normally never get at school or at home.
