Jonas Brothers bring down the White House

Posted on April 27, 2008 - 9:25am by terra You know the U.S. is in need of an executive leadership revamp when three teenagers a few growth spurts shy of manhood with hair that's envied by young girls are able to attract more positive media attention and fans than the leader (supposedly) of the country.



On Friday, April 26th, the much adored Jonas Brothers attended the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner where hoards of shrieking young fans awaited the presence of their favorite trio in the flesh. Jonas fans would give Beatles groupies a run for their money.



Bush should be grateful for the boy band's attendance, which brought the event more press than it was apparently worth, especially since Stephen Colbert was banned for mocking the President in 2006.

This year, the featured entertainer was Scottish-born Craig Ferguson, the host of CBS' Late Late Show, who, ironically, was sworn in as a U.S. citizen just a few months ago.



Other celebrity guests included Rob Lowe, Martha Stewart, Ashlee Simpson, Pete Wentz, Heidi XXX, Lauren XXX, Eric "McSteamy" Dane, Madonna, Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck, Pamela Anderson, Jenny McCarthy,

Oh, yeah... Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia and Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff were there too.
