Jonathan Rhys Meyers Arrested Over Airport Brawl
Tudors, Jonathan Rhys Meyers was detained by French police on Saturday for punching a waiter at an airport lounge in the face after he refused to give drunkin' Meyers anymore liquor before getting on his flight. This isn't the first time the Meyers has been arrested because of his drinking problem. Back in 2007, he was arrested for being a drunkin' mess at a Dublin airport. That same year he shuffled off to rehab.
PEOPLE reports that Meyers was trying to have one last drink before getting on a flight, but the waiter was not cooperating. The bar's manager was called over to help calm Meyers down and that's when the brawl started. Another waiter came over to try to help and he ended up getting punched in the face by Meyers. The police were finally called and took Meyers to the drunk tank to sober up.
Meyers was arrested under the charges of "voluntary violence, contempt, issuing death threats and assault." His hearing is in September.
