Katie Price And Peter Andre Split
Reality TV couple Katie Price a.k.a Jordan and Peter Andre are calling it quits after being married for four and a half years.
The two confirmed the news on Monday in a statement from their management company saying:
"They have both requested that the media respect their families' privacy at this difficult time," the publicist added.
Katie and Peter, who met on the U.K. reality TV show I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, got married in 2005 and are parents to son Junior, 3 , and daughter Princess Tiaamii, 1. Katie also has a son, Harvey, from her previous relationship with soccer star Dwight Yorke.
The couple appeared together in their own television chat shows and a number of TV documentaries depicting their life together.
The ex-couple recorded an album of duets, "A Whole New World," which reached number 20 in 2006.
Katie, 30, who found early modeling fame under the name Jordan, has also published three popular autobiographies and four novels.
Peter, 36, born in England but brought up in Australia, had two number one hits in the mid 1990s with "Flava" and "I Feel You," and in 2004 "Mysterious Girl" also made it to the top of the charts.
