Last Season of 24?!??
Kiefer Sutherland's character in 24, Jack Bauer, has saved the world from terrorist threats, presidential assassinations, and biological warfare. So what's next for the 8th season? Producers may possibly be calling it quits.
Even though rumors of the show's demise are nothing new, this one has a little bit more substance.
TV exec Kevin Reilly told the New York Post:
"It's our last contractual season of 24. There are a lot of moving parts, so we're not sure what will happen after that. It's going to come down to a business decision. It's not an inexpensive show on the network books and we also want to finish strong. This is not a show we want to prop up."
If the show ends, Kiefer will have to find another way to make the big bucks because his wallet makes $550,000 per episode...ouch.
But we're asking this question: Will the world last without Jack Bauer?
