Lauren Conrad confesses that 'The Hills' is fake
Lauren Conrad, the star of the hit MTV reality series, 'The Hills' confessed in a recent interview that the show was fake.
She says the show has a lot of re-enactments.
For instance, camera's didn't catch a juicy phone conversation between Brody Jenner and Lauren, so the next day they had to re-enact the phone conversation like it was just happening.
Lauren stresses that re-enactments only happen when the cameras weren't around to capture real-life drama occuring. The stars will report to MTV what happened and if it's good reality tv than they have to re-enact the event.
Lauren also adds that MTV has also stagged brawls between herself and Heidi Montag.
“We were getting into these situations where we were running into [Heidi and Spencer], and [MTV] kept missing them.”
