Award winning rapper, Ludacris, had a contest for people struggling with keeping or finding a job because they couldn’t afford a car.
Ludacris gave 20 contestant winners a new car and a month of free gas. The contestants had to submit a 300 word essay to Ludacris’ foundation describing their situation.
Ludacris said,
People are getting laid off, and now are looking for jobs. To be efficient, you need some transportation of your own to get there. That’s why I wanted to give back to those who need it.
It’s always nice to see the mega rich help the less fortunate.

Good work, Ludacris! I’m curious to know how the whole thing will turn out though. Remember a few years ago when Oprah had a show where she gave a new car to everyone in the audience? I heard that later a lot of them complained about things like insurance costs and whatnot. Talk about being ungrateful!!
