Miley Cyrus makes her name official

Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus has officially legalized her name. Miley's birth name was Destiny Hope Cyrus.

Her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, used to call Miley, Smiley. A young sibling of hers couldn't pronounce Smiley, only Miley. And the name just stuck.

She took her father's middle name Ray, thus becoming Miley Cyrus.
