Dayana Mendoza, the reigning Miss Universe is a supporter of gay marriage.

Dayana was on Howard Stern this morning and instead of his usual request of “take your top off” Stern asked the controversial question about gay marriage: “Should gay marriage be legal?”

Mendoza’s response, “Why not?”  She said that she has several close gay friends and would like to see them be able to spend the rest of their lives with the people that they loved.
