What is happening this week in Hollywood?   Why are all these celebs breaking up?  First, Miley Cyrus and Justin Gaston, then Kanye West and Amber Rose, now Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt.  Celebrity couples are breaking up like it’s the hot new trend to be serial daters.

Ah, and Paris tried desperately to make us all believe that Doug was the one; too, that she had actually found the man she was finally going to marry so soon after splitting with Benji Madden (the former man of her dreams).  It’s a good thing none of us bought it because once again the heiress is all alone.  Hopefully she finds her BFF soon before she gets too lonely.

A rep for the 28-year-old reality star confirmed the break up news to People saying,

In response to the inquiry on whether Paris Hilton has split up with Doug Reinhardt, yes, this is true, they are no longer together. They remain friends and ask that you please respect their privacy.

Who would have thought the couple who were so hot and heavy in front of the cameras nearly making us gag uncontrollably would call it quits so soon?  Is there something in the water, air, powder?
