The internet was abuzz this morning as rumors circulated that actor Patrick Swayze had lost his battle to pancreatic cancer.  Several sources have confirmed, however, that this is not true!

The rumors started when a Jacksonville, Florida radio station, KissFM, reported his death, but the station’s programming director, Ken Bosen, has confirmed that these assertions were false.

Swayze’s publicist told E! News, “Patrick is alive, well and is enjoying his life and he continues to respond to treatment.”

We’re glad to hear he’s doing okay! How weird would it be to hear about your own “death” on the internet?
