"Pregnant Man" Gives Birth To A Baby Boy
Thomas Beatie, the world's first "Pregnant Man," has given birth, naturally, to his second child, a baby boy, on Tuesday according to ABC's 20/20. Thomas and his wife Nancy have not yet decided on a name.Beatie announced last November that he was expecting his second child, telling Barbara Walters that he did not go back on the male hormone testosterone after his daughter was born so he could have another baby.
"I feel good," Beatie said at the time. "I had my checkups with my hormone level, as far as the HCG. And everything is right on track."
Beatie's wife, Nancy, is reportedly planning to breastfeed the couple’s newborn, as she did with their 1-year-old daughter, Susan Juliette.
