Selena Gomez is trying to be a good friend with good intentions and wants to set Taylor Swift up with pal Jonathan Cook.

Selena’s plan is slowly coming together. She has already set the country starlit and Forever the Sickest Kids frontman up via iChat–and it’s seems to be working.

Calling Swift his “celebrity crush,” Cook gushed: “She is gorgeous… She is an amazing songwriter, and I can relate to her not only as a musician but also as a writer.”

“Plus, she seems so down-to-earth, I always root for her as a fan!”

Selena, who is featured on the Forever the Sickest Kids‘ track “Whoa Oh,” hasn’t been too easy on Jonathan  in the  romance department.

“Selena suggests girls for me to date,” Cook said, adding that as a caveat, “she has told me she has to approve of any girls that I date.”

As for any reverse matchmaking opportunities he has planed?

“I’ve suggested that she date Shia LeBeouf,” Cook said. “She’s so funny. She’s so into him.”

I don’t know about the Jonathan/ Taylor match-up. I’m not a fan of Forever The Sickest Kids and Jonathan well isn’t so attractive. Taylor desereves a talented good-looking guy, I mean she is so pretty and cute. A Joe Jonas X 10.

And as for Shia and Selena, not a chance. Shia is too old for her and way too cool.
