Simon Cowell's Ex Terri Seymour Attack After American Idol Last Night
Terri Seymour, Simon Cowell's ex and Extra correspondent, was attacked last night after the American Idol show at the Nokia Theatre. Police feel that it was due to her association with the Idol judge.
One of the police officers on duty witnessed the incident. After the show at around 7 p.m., 33 year old Janice Thibodeaux approached Seymour and asked her if she was Simon's ex. She answered in the affirmative, and Thibodeaux went ballistic and grabbed Seymour's neck and attempted to choke her.
The police grabbed the attacker and quickly brought her into custody and booked her on felony battery.
It's unclear if Thibodeaux was in the Idol audience or whether she was simply hanging outside the venue. She is being held on $32,000 bail.
Seymour, 34, refused medical treatment after the incident.
