Singer Lily Allen pregnant!

Posted on December 19, 2007 - 1:54am by tammy Jaime Lynn Spears is not the only one with shocking baby news. For the second baby news of the day, The Sun has reported that  22 year old Lily Allen is pregnant and the father is 37 year old Chemical Brother Ed Simons.

 

A source close to the singer said: “Lily is thrilled to be pregnant and can’t wait to become a mum. She’s a real family person.

“Ed’s very happy. He is really looking after her.”

The Smile singer has been dating Ed - who is 15 years her senior - since September. They now plan to set up home together.

Lily, whose debut album Alright, Still was the huge hit of last summer, has made no secret of her desire to start a family.

Our source said: “Lily could not be happier.

“It’s the icing on the cake for what has been an incredible 18 months for her. She is looking forward to finishing her new album early next year and releasing it before the birth of her first child.”
