Brand has already met the folks, and they approve! Which may come as a shock to anyone that has ever heard him speak, but apparently he made a good impression on Perry's pastor parents! The ultra conservative minister must have seen something he liked in Brand, because he was quoted saying

Hot N Cold singer Katy Perry seems to be good for bad boy comic Russell Brand, he said in a radio interview that ''I'm having a right laugh, she's a good person to spend time with and it's changed me, it's made me stop doing stuff that I probably shouldn't have been doing.'' Russell's checkered past of drug abuse and womanizing casts shadows of doubt over their relationship, but with a cutie like Katy at home, who would want to stray?
