TMZ.com is reporting that Tila Tequila has filed a lawsuit against San Diego Charger, Shawne Merriman.

Since the San Diego County D.A.’s office declined to file criminal charges, Tila has filed a civil lawsuit for assault, battery, false imprisonment and emotional stress.  Tila claims that Shawne grabbed her, shook her, threw her to the ground and choked her as they argued last September and she has the bruises to prove it.

TIla’s lawyer, Cyrus Nownejad, included the photo gallery of a bruised and battered Tequila in the lawsuit.

Tila is seeking an unspecified amount for damages.
