Usher & Temeka Foster Get A Divorce
We all saw this coming and Usher tried to convince us otherwise saying we were all haters if we didn't like his new wife and telling PEOPLE, " I am happy, excited, completely clear and independent on my direction, feelings, decisions and I am NOT BEING LED," he wrote, addressing rumors that Foster has Usher on a short leash.Well, well, well. I guess that leash has become short now, huh?
Usher and his wife of two years, Tameka Foster, have reportedly filed for divorce this morning in Atlanta. The ex-couple have two children together Usher Raymond V, 18 months, and Naviyd, 6 months.
In Touch magazine says, “The Grammy winner has been living apart from his wife for nearly a year after almost two years of marriage. Usher’s primary concern is for his children. He is a great father and just wants to do what is right for them.”
This divorce apparently has been a long time coming.
He has also been photographed without wearing his wedding ring, which of course fueled rumors that a split was impending.
The couple has faced problems in the past. In November 2008, In Touch reported that Usher was flirting with girls at a party in Miami, and even asked a model what she was doing afterward. And just last week, he was spotted with a project manger for Def Jam records.
And in February, In Touch revealed that although Usher flew to Tameka’s side after she suffered cardiac arrest from cosmetic surgery in Brazil, he “had no idea that she was there to have surgery."
