Why Can't Girls in the U.S. Walk in Heels?
Two years in a row our Miss USA's can't seem to walk. What is this showing our youth?
Forget the fact that Miss USA is encouraged to get a boob job, lipo, teeth implants and wear fake hair the night of the competition. Forget that Miss Universe's of the past have had their tiara's cruely ripped from their hairsprayed do's because they gained 20lbs. I mean, when our ladies can't even walk a catwalk in heels? I do fear for the future.
In all seriousness, I have been doing pageants since I was four years old. I understand the pressure and the slippery-ness of a freshly polished floor. Of course you want the stage looking nice, but with that being said, how could we possibly have two Miss USA's back to back - who were both doing well enough to make it to top 10 - be so clumsy? None of the other girls seemed to have vertigo issues that night.
