Britney dissed by American Idol
In a conference call on Thursday, Nigel Lythgoe, the head honcho of American Idol, told USweekly that he will not be inviting Britney to perform on American Idol this season.
“I would have had Britney Spears last year when I thought she was trying to get it all back together again,” he said.
“Britney, at this moment in time, I don’t think is well enough to do anything … I think she needs to pull herself together.”
Spears, 26, is an “exceptionally talented girl,” says Lythgoe, but “needs taking care of right now”.
It's alright Brit. Maybe next year.
