Chad Michael Murray And Hilarie Burton Axed From 'One Tree Hill'
I used to be an avid watcher of the WB's 'One Tree HIll', right up there with the 'OC' and 'Dawson's Creek', but easily strayed do to horrible story lines and better shows. But this past season I have become hooked again to "OTH' as well as 'Gossip Girl.'
So it saddens me greatly to hear that Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton have been axed from the show due to faulty contract negotiations and to "save money."
In last night's episode, Chad's character, Lucas, finally married the love of his life, Hilarie's character, Payton. A wedding us fans have been waiting for for some time now. Monday is the shows season finale and will be that last time we see Chad and Hilarie in their famous roles.
Because of this lame decision, I am guessing that next season will be the show's last season. There will be two new characters to fill in spots and Austin Nichols (Jilian) will have a permanent role for now.
