"Hannah Montana's" Ratings Drop

Disney released a new episode of Hannah Montana on Sunday and saw a 14% decline in viewership compared to the new episode that aired before her semi-nude photos were released. And viewership has dropped 26% in comparison to the seasons opening episode that aired in January.

Disney President and chief executive officer, Bob Iger, released a statement on Wednesday saying,
With a new season of shows coming up, a new record in July, and a theatrical film next year, the 'Hannah Montana'/Miley Cyrus franchise is incredibly robust.
Another rep for Disney said, "Have no fear. The 'Hannah' phenomenon is still alive and well."

What may have been a publicity stunt to further her career might now end up hurting it.
