'Jon & Kate Plus 8' Production Halted
TLC has halted the production of their headlining reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8 because they say that their is not enough footage to put together new episodes due to the Jon and Kate's marital problems.
The episodes that have aired this season were shot last minute and put together as quickly as possible, being finished the day of its airing.
Next Monday’s show will feature clips of previous shows and will include some new footage, but there will be no new shows until August 3.
Jon & Kate Plus 8 has become TLC’s highest rated show, with 9.8 million viewers tuning in to the premiere in May. It has also boosted the ratings of the new show that follows it, “Cake Boss.”
