Kara DioGuardi Says She's Only Judging One Season Of 'American Idol'
Kara DioGuardi, the latest addition to the 'American Idol' judges panel, recently revealed that she has only signed on for one season of A.I. Which is understandably so since none of us knew exactly how the dynamics of two men and two women judges was going to play out with the show or its audience.
“I’m only here for one season,” Kara DioGuardi tells TV Guide Magazine. “That’s what we’ve discussed. So we’ll see what happens. Hopefully they’ll keep me on.”…“My life has become extremely exciting and I am so excited for this opportunity,” she says. “I feel grateful to America that they let me grow and they let me find my groove on the show and that they were patient. And hopefully I haven’t disappointed them. It’s been a scary experience at times.”
So what does Simon Cowell say about Kara returning next season?:
“I would imagine so, but the only say I have is about Ryan, Randy and Paula. I’ve always made it clear that I wouldn’t like to do the show without them. So that’s all I’m really concerned about.”
So what do you think about this whole situation? Do you think that Kara will be allowed to renew her contract?
I hope so. After Simon, she is my favorite. She adds so much knowledge to the panel. She is a keeper in my book.
