Laurence Fishburne Might Be the Next CSI
It is rumored that Laurence Fishburne is talking with CBS about replacing William Petersen (Gil Grissom) as the lead actor on CSI.If Fishburne is Grissom's replacement, he will be playing the part of an outside scientist that has the same genetic profile as a serial killer and will not join CSI until the 10th
episode of the upcoming season, after Grissom solves his final crime.John Malkovich and Kurt Russel are also being named as possible replacements. However, CBS has not yet commented on the casting.
So who do you think is the best replacement for Gil Grissom's? I'd have to say that Petersen is irreplaceable. Grissom has been my favorite character since the show started and I don't think I will watch it anymore once he is gone, even if he does make an occasional appearance.
