MTV Claims That Eminem Knew About The Bruno Stunt

MTV Movie Award writer Scott Aukerman finally is putting speculations to rest and says that Eminem was fully aware of the Bruno flying stunt that happened at the MTV Movie Awards Sunday night.
Scott said,
"Yes, the Eminem-Bruno incident was staged. They rehearsed it at dress [rehearsal] and yes, it went as far as it did on the live show."

Here are some celebrity comments about the incident:
Taraji P. Henson told USA Today,
"That was staged! Do you really think it wasn't? They would not put a man's naked [butt] in Eminem's face and not let him know. Come on! They're not stupid."
Actor Tyrese Gibson, who sat in the row behind Eminem at the MTV awards, said that he saved a few feathers that he was able to grab off of Cohen.
"That was crazy! I don't know what's going on with that whole situation, but I tried my best to help dude get off of Eminem," Gibson said. "But yo, that was crazy. That was a bit much. That was nuts!"

Comedian Aisha Tyler said staged or not, the incident gave people something to laugh about.
"I don't want to be a hater, because I love Sacha Baron Cohen, but this was already done by Howard Stern. He did this like, 10 years ago, at the movie awards. Sasha does have a nicer butt than Howard, though," she laughed. "But I think it was probably a stunt, and that's OK. Hollywood is about theater. We're so jaded in this town, so anytime people get us talking, it's a good thing."
Here is Howard Stern's stunt as Fartman at the 92' MTV Movie Awards. Not nearly as funny though.

Pete Wentz joked,
"This is like the new Britney. I would not put my (butt) in Eminem's face. Seriously, I would not want Sacha Baron Cohen's (butt) in my face. I know that much."
The show attracted 5.3 million viewers---the largest audience since the 2004 MTV Movie Awards.
