MTV’s ‘It’s On With Alexa Chung’ has been cancelled!  In a statement released Friday, the network said that the show will not return to air after the December 17th finale.

The show’s host, Alexa Chung, is a British model.  She moved to New York City specifically to host the show.  The show aired for two seasons and was one of the few remaining pop-culture/music based shows left on the network.  MTV has become more reality-based in recent years.

In the statement regarding the show’s cancellation, MTV said:

“Alexa Chung will present the last of her current series, It’s On With Alexa Chung, for MTV America next Thursday 17th December.  She and the network have mutually decided to part ways on this project.”
