President Obama Apologizes For Tonight Show Remark

President Obama's recent appearance on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno also marked one of his first major slips of the tongue.

He made a casual joke about his low bowling score, saying that it was "like the Special Olympics or something." His carelessness had him calling the Special Olympics Chief Executive, Tim Shriver, to apologize for the comment.

Seems Obama is still learning how careful he has to be with his words.  Shriver gracefully accepted Obama's apology, saying that the President "expressed his disappointment and apologized," and that "he was very sincere."

White House spokesman Bill Burton issued a statement on Friday; which, if you ask me, is just oozing with the sugar-coated jargon of a career politician...
"The President made an offhand remark making fun of his own bowling that was in no way intended to disparage the Special Olympics. He thinks that the Special Olympics are a wonderful program that gives an opportunity to shine to people with disabilities from around the world."

Let's just be a little more careful next time, shall we Mr. President? You're doing so well!

President Obama was very gracious to apologize for his supposedly "gaffe".
But, if everyone think just a little not much, we all have one or more handicaps. Show me and others in this world that one perfect person with no flaws or problems in their lives. The media and others need to call on their positive intelligence and help in some way to solve this mess we all are in today and for the future.

Mr. President, you are awesome! ! Keep doing what you're doing.
