Thanks to Twitter Justin Bieber is Going To Be on SNL!

Young singer Justin Bieber, who was discovered on YouTube, now has one more internet website to thank for launching his career into outer space; and that's Twitter! The soon-to-be 16 year old is set to be the musical guest in an upcoming episode of 'Saturday Night Live' because of crafting little Twitter followers. A bunch of people band together to create a Twitter campaign to get Bieber on SNL. The @BieberOnSNL garnered over 2,600 followers. Producers at 'SNL' couldn't deny the buzz surrounding the Canadian born singer, and signed the 'One Time' singer up to be the musical guest for the April 10th episode. No doubt this appearance will do wonders for his career, as many other musical guest received a huge boost in record sales after they preform on the late night sketch comedy show. Good timing plays a part here, his appearance comes just about two weeks after his second record, My World 2.0, is to be released.
Although it is rumored that Tina Fey will be hosting on April 10th, it has yet to be officially announced. Justin has his own idea on who should be paired up with him, he sent out a tweet saying;
"Me and Chuck Norris should do 'SNL' together. That would be good. Very good."
I don't see the connection, but hey, why not?!
Bieber sent out a special tweet thanking his loyal followers for all the hard work and campaigning, saying "Shoutout to @BieberOnSNL and all the other fans who support me. It's happening! SNL in APRIL!! Digital Short Music Vid??" I would love to see what Justin and Andy Samberg come up with. With previous musical guests doing a digital short, such as Rihanna, Alicia Keys and Justin Timberlake, there is a good chance that we will get to see a hilarious Bieber/Samberg digital short!

Are you guys going to watch/record the episode?
