The Bachelorette is Jesse's Girl
Last night was the season finale of "The Bachelorette" and I think everyone's reaction was, "W-T-F?!?!"The Bachelorette, DeAnna Pappa, picked Jesse! Every episode I watched I became more and more surprised that Jesse had made it so far. He totally did not seem like DeAnna's type (a point that seemed to be shared with her family in the final episode). If anything, he had always seemed more like someone meant for the friend zone, but DeAnna proved me and at least 90% of America wrong.
The show was filled with plenty of exciting moments and for some really sad. Check out the full episode here and if you're not up for it, here were the highlights.
1. Jason gets in with the family, especially daddy, when he asks for permission to propose.
2. Poor Jesse gets ripped in his meeting, but he did redeem himself a bit later on...in the extended family gathering with Jason! Yup, it was sooo not awkward as the two sat on either side of DeAnna whilst being grilled. Please take note of the sarcasm.
3. Jeremy shows up in attempt to convince DeAnna of the depth of his feelings. He really handed over his heart only to get it stomped on as DeAnna told him she felt more for Jason and Jesse.4. Jason gets really moded as DeAnna cuts him off mid-proposal to tell him her heart is somewhere else. Ouch!
Wow, for not wanting to hurt anyone like Brad had done to her, DeAnna didn't seem to hold anything back. If you're wondering how life is after the proposal, check out the After the Final Rose Special. As of yet, word on the street is a 2009 May wedding. Think they'll make it?
