Well, whether you like it or not, it looks like the whole vampire craze is here to stay, and it has successfully made its way to prime time television.

The CW’s hot new tv series, The Vampire Diaries, had a huge series premiere opening night, with 4.8 million viewers. These numbers placed the series as the CW’s most watched series premiere ever!

Let’s see if they can keep it up. I’m sure avid fans of True Blood and Twilight watched the show to see how it measured up to the other melodramatic blood-lusting shows.
