Screen writer Aaron Sorkin has agreed to write a movie for Sony and producer Scott Rudin about how Facebook was invented.

Justin Timberlake (Love Guru), Jesse Eisenberg (Adventureland), and Andrew Garfield have signed on to play the dynamic trio in the Facebook film The Social Network.

Timberlake will play Sean Parker (also founder of Napster), Eisenberg will take on the role of Mark Zuckerberg, and Andrew Garfield will portray Eduardo Saverin.

The film will focus on the evolution of Facebook from its 2004 creation on the Harvard campus by sophomore Mark Zuckerberg to its world wide popularity with his 200 million members.
