Thomas Beatie, a.k.a. the “Pregnant Man,” has finally given birth to a girl! In case you have been under a rock for the last 6 months, Thomas Beatie is a female to male trans gender. He had his breasts removed and began taking male hormones years ago, but opted to keep his female reproductive organs.
“I feel it’s not a male or female desire to have a child,” he told Oprah Winfrey.
“It’s a human need. I’m a person and I have the right to have a biological child.”
According to a source, Thomas had his baby naturally and earlier rumors of a planned Cesarean were false.
Wonder how much the magazines are going to pony up for the first shots…

its transgender man.he still has his female parts.iam not trying to sound sexist very few you guys could handle childbirth.imange you have to push a 6 to 10 pound baby out of you.childbirth is not for the weak.i had natrual childbirth with all 4 of my pregnancy.my last baby was 9 pounds even.it hurt likes hell espeally when your only 4-11 in children size strups because legs our too short for the others and pushing with everthing you got!

i think it’s great!but i wish real men could get pregant to see the pain n sacrifices n all the other things women have to go through to bring a child into the world i know for a fact men could not take the labor pains they could never handle it.most all pass ot in delivery room n the other half wait outside.

Ok I honestly don’t see what the big deal is. He’s a she! I could shave my head and stop shaving my legs and pop out a kid and be on the news? No just because SHE fancies herself a dude doesn/t mean that HER getting pregnant and pushing a baby out HER vagina is any different that the women who give birth every day.

Good for them! Everybody has the right to have kids. It’s really not that big of a deal though considering “he” isn’t technically male at the moment. Now, if he had gotten the full operation and then gotten pregnant, THAT would be a newsworthy story :P

Wow, I didn’t know that there were still this many ignorant people in the world. Why does everyone have to be so negative about things you know nothing about? Thomas has every right to have children with his wife who can’t carry a baby. If only everyone had someone to love them that much.

HHHmmmmm! Nowadays I see it possible for a real man to have a baby we are just waiting for technology to catch up, as far as this person is concerned only mentally is she considered a male. If I had my breasts removed that would not make me less a woman, women have mastectomies due to cancer, if I grew hair under my arms and legs then started taking testosterone that still would not make me less a woman, just a woman with more hair and no breasts, we distinguish the difference between a male and female biologically by our reproductive organs, not because hey someone says even tho I still have a vagina I want to be called a man, the only way that is possible is mentally in the persons own mind. And that is where the difference can not be recognised. But we as a society have to be gentle with those who have these problems, because we are humans and all humans make mistakes, even myself, so everything I said up he could be wrong to others but it is my own belief, so to does this woman/man have their belief.

Sorry to say this, a true man has a penis. If you change your sex,you will always be that sex,just because your BRAIN or BODY tells you,you are not supposed to be a male or female or vise versa,doesn’t mean you are. God created men and women.
God made it possible for women to go through labor and go through the ordeals that come with it. God did not create a man to diver out of a PEN hole.
Look at a women VAGINA and a mans PENIS, I think there is a Big Difference. Wake up people this is not a Ripleys Believe it Or NOT, because they would not put something in there that is not true.
Find me a man with no female ovaries,organs;etc.,and actually get pregnant,and like everyone know that delivery would be C-section.
