Earlier today someone showed me some pretty scandalous pictures of Vanessa Hudgens…in the nude and nearly nude. I was questioning whether or not the pictures were photo shopped; however, it has now been confirmed that the pictures are 100 percent real.
Vanessa Hudgens is the star of Disney’s High School Musical and High School Musical 2; but, truly, her greatest feat has got to be that she now has her very own naked pictures circulating the internet. Stupid girl–ok, at least she’s not underage–but, come on, she is a Disney star–not the smartest move in the history of film stars.
Hudgens is set to film High School Musical 3 and there have been rumors and speculation that Disney has dropped her due to the naked photo scandal:
It was reported by OK! magazine that Vanessa Anne Hudgens was replaced by Adrienne Ballon (a Disney Cheeta Girl) due to her naked photo scandal.
An OK! insider revealed that Disney did not want Hudgens back. “They feel that as long as Zac Efron is in the movie, all will be fine. He’s the real star–the household name–and, most importantly he comes without baggage.”
According to ONTD, the decision came just hours after the scandal became public and got to the offices at Disney. An insider said, “It was an extremely hard decision… Vanessa has become a part of the family, but we felt it was irresponsible of her to do what she did.” Both Hudgens and Bailon’s reps have denied to comment, as well as reps for Disney.
Update:
Despite all the rumors and the scandal, it seems Vanessa will not only star in High School Musical 3, but according to Us magazine, she will also be getting a “substantial increase” in pay.
Disney representative, Patti McTeague, stated that “Vanessa has apologized for what was obviously a lapse in judgment…we hope she’s learned a valuable lesson.”
Vanessa apologized to her fans, saying:
I want to apologize to my fans, whose support and trust mean the world to me. I am embarrassed over this situation and regret having ever taken these photos. I am thankful for the support of my family and friends.

Has it ever occurred to any of you that nudity doesn’t have to be sexual? Or, that nude photos are not the end of the world? I hate it when people make a big deal about innocent nude photos…yet, most don’t give a flying you-know-what when it comes to graphic violence. Janet Jackson exposes a breast during a half-time game event and people flip out. Vanessa Hudgens and Adrienne Bailon show nude photos and all hell breaks loose. Oh, but it’s okay to show people getting decapitated or some other kind of grisly dismemberment without even a bat of the eye, right? Why is violence okay, but nudity isn’t? Don’t you think the shoe should be on the other foot?
One of the worst excuses people make up is when they say nudity will scar kids. If that’s true, then why are kids allowed to be at most nudist resorts with their families? Won’t that scar them, too? They’re seeing nudity at those places, but they don’t have hang-ups that most of us have. If kids were taught that nudity is NOT a bad thing, these so-called “nude scandals” would not even be scandals. See, most people associate nudity with sex and…therefore, kids should not be exposed to sex. That’s only true with sexual nudity, like pornography for instance. Vanessa’s nude photos are NOT sexual.
The real problem is our society that brainwashes people to believe that nudity is a bad thing. And, of course, parents brainwash…err, teach kids to believe that, too. Kids pick up on what they see from their parents. If parents react negatively about nudity, then kids will pick up on that feeling, too. That’s why they grow up to be so hateful when it comes to innocent nudity…and it’s also why, especially when they become teenagers, they “experiment” with others.
If we could get past our social thinking of nudity, these problems would go away on their own. We wouldn’t care if anyone had nude photos because it would be normal to be nude. There’s a big difference between a girl standing alone in her room nude and some porn girl giving some guy a little pleasure “south of the border” if you catch my drift. Unless it’s sexual, nude is not lewd! That’s it. Case closed. No questions asked.
