22 year old Natalie Dylan is auctioning off her virginity in hopes that it will pay for the schooling needed to obtain a master’s degree. Natalie is from San Diego, California and already has a bachelor’s degree in Women’s Studies. So she, of all people, should know how degrading this is for women. She knew that her ‘Virginity for Sale’ project was going to be controversial, but said she is ready for the controversy. Natalie said,
We live in a capitalist society. Why shouldn’t I be able to capitalize on my virginity?
Why lose it to some guy in a Toyota when you can use it to pay for your education?
Sounds like a successful educated prostitute woman to me. Natalie thinks that her virginity is worth a million bucks, but I don’t think she is even worth one. However, if you are interested she is selling her virginity at the Moonlight Bunny Ranch in Nevada because ebay refused the listing.
Do you think this woman’s virginity is worth a million dollars?

Your virginity is invaluble…I would abstain until marriage.

Um, Japan has been doing this since the end of time… only I don’t think the girls had a say in the matter

Isn’t that having sex for money, why would you publicize it.

Ms. Natalie, your Virginity belongs to your Future Husband.
How can you do this to him with a clear mind?
Your Virginity is worth more so much more than any amount of money.
What about AIDS,HPV and other STD’s, even one encounter can scare your body for life. What money is worth that?
What about the Guilt that you will have to deal with once your Virginity is gone?
Do not be Greedy for money.
Don’t do this is my free advice.

Wow, I really do not know how to answer this inexplicitly. I’m not exactly rich myself, but my parents still find a way to pay for my education (I’m still in high school and I don’t work because I’m too young for a good retail job and I don’t wanna work in FAST FOOD), so I wouldn’t have to go “capitalist meets prostitute” to pay for my education.
Virginity isn’t worth money and the loser who does “buy you” won’t respect you like a long-term boyfriend would. He’d sleep with you and never want to speak with you unless you want to go soliciting for money through sex and turn into a prostitute who has no self-respect. God, he may not even pay for you the next time he wants a crack at it (I’m sorry for the language, but it has to be said)
Keep your last little bit of innocence and give it up for a man who will look after you and will love you through thick and thin, not for some loser who wants to get off. I’m sure no guy would pay $1 mill for a virgin anyway. You may lose the respect of your friends, co-workers and family if you do this, so take that into serious consideration. I may only be 15, but I know what I do and do not respect in a person, and I wouldn’t respect some girl who sells herself when it’s so much easier (and less painful) to find a platonic job.
Abstainance is great! Keep it!

I feel it is of her own volition and if she has come to the conclusion that this act of prostitution is for her overall enhancement. Then who are we to argue, furthermore those that see it as utterly wrong are most probably constrained by archaic beliefs or other such prejudices. It is not as if she does not have a valid goal for the act, furthering ones education is a noble goal so long as she does not infringe on others well being in the process. She seems to have taken the necessary precautions, but to be sure there are negatives to her decision. Undoubtedly there will be repercussions for her actions socially. The only fact that matters it is her choice and no others.

Prositution has been around for ages. We are in the age of the internet and everybodies business is out there. Natalie has capilatised on this. It is however illegal in 49 states. So as long as it happens in Nevada she is fine. Socially its unacceptable in most certain areas. She will have to deal with her own self when its done. People make chices everyday that have long term and short term concequences. The person who takes her up is just as guilty. It takes two to tango and maybe a baby could follow. So take or leave it. Your just a slut for sale.

Although what she will be doing would be wrong and I completely agree with those who tell her to preserve it for her husband but we must also realize that for a noble cause people dont pay but for a sin they do. I know of a Lady in UK who saw and orphan and wanted to raise for money, when she asked the polite way she didnt even get peanuts but when she went in a local strip club she came back with £ 1000.
Through this forum I like to make a request to the lady herself not to indulge in it and the readers to donate 50c or $1 each for her so that she can continue her studies. Let us all be generous and share the good.
