A Star Studded 'DJ Hero' Launch Party
Creators of Guitar Hero launched their new spin-off game DJ Hero at Wiltern last night. The new game is on its way to bringing big success.MTV reports that the night kicked off with a set from Travis Barker and DJ AM, chopping it up in their unique style, hopping from Guns N' Roses' "Welcome to the Jungle" through Bell Biv Devoe's "Poison," Michael Jackson's "Rock With You," Metallica's "Enter Sandman," the White Stripes' "Seven Nation Army" and Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody."
Eminem took the stage with Jay-Z in a rare performance. The packed crowd was treated to a thrilling set from Jay that included some of his biggest hits. Eminem at one point grabbed the mic and traded verses with Jay on "Renegade" before taking over the stage for his own mini-set.
These men played to a large crowd of celebrities like Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz, Kim Kardashian, Ali Larter, Adam Lavine, Rihanna, Mark Hoppus, Michelle Trachenberg, Vanessa Minnillo, Amy Smart, Ryan Phillippe, and many more.
