Bolivian Newscast Confuses Air France Tragedy with Lost Photos

Posted on June 22, 2009 - 1:54pm by kirstie On Thursday, Bolivian television station PAT aired a primetime news report about the Air France tragedy using photos from ABC's hit show Lost that they claimed had been taken by a passenger before the crash.  Watch the hilarious epic news fail below:



According to PAT news director Eddy Luis Franco, the station received the photos from a viewer via the internet and were told they had been recovered from a digital camera memory card. I guess Lost isn't hugely popular in Bolivia, but, still! You would think someone would have realized their mistake!
