Celebs Protest Prop "H8" in Los Angeles!

Posted on May 28, 2009 - 8:43am by alexa For those of you who don't live in Los Angeles, there is a very big political issue going on right now regarding Proposition 8, which is essentially a ban on gay marriage.  Prop 8 was actually passed in the recent presidential election, and although there have been numerous protests, demonstrations and general outrage from both the gay and straight communities, a few days ago the Supreme Court ruled to uphold Prop 8 in the state of California.

Once again there was outrage, and the people of Los Angeles including many celebrities pulled together on Tuesday night to protest this insane, prejudiced restriction on human rights.

Check out the video below, which includes celebs such as Pete Wentz, Mark Hoppus, Emmy Rossum, Sophia Bush, Perez Hilton, Shanna Moakler, Kathy Griffin, and George Takei.  It's very reminiscent of the film Milk in my opinion!
