Chicks Dig It Too! Snowboarding Babes Bring a Huge Crowd

Posted on April 2, 2009 - 3:28pm by Cindy We're all about Girl Power here at Hollywire and this is definitely Girl Power at it's finest!  If you don't dig snowboarding already, well, you definitely will after you watch these super women fly down the half-pipes like superheros wearing boards on their feet.  They are INSANE.

This was last weekend's 2009 Roxy Chicken Jam competition at Mammoth Mountain, California...



Anyone within driving distance to Mammoth really shouldn't have missed it...I mean, come on, girls flying thru the air (shredding like there's no tomorrow), free concerts, a hilarious mascot competition which features furry creatures wowing us on the slopes, who would not love to see this?





Even with all the fun going on, you have to take some time out to appreciate the athletes:





They get rewarded handsomely for their athletic abilities...$15k to do what you love?!  How awesome is that?!





Aw, to finish off a good day of boarding with a good concert at The Village...pure heaven.



Are you just a lil'bit jealous?  I wasn't there, so I know I am!  I'm marking my calendar for next year...no more missing out on the good life for me.
