Ellen DeGeneres Gets Her Wish - The Cover of "O" Magazine!

Ellen DeGeneres has bombarded Oprah with requests to be featured on the media moguls magazine titled "O" via her talk show and the inter webs. Well, it paid off because Oprah herself called Ellen and extended an invite to her to share the cover of "O" magazine. This will be the second time in 9 years that Oprah has let another person grace the cover of her magazine, the first being the First Lady, Michelle Obama.

Ellen had been campianing for a spot on the cover of "O" for weeks now. Calling Harpo studios while on air, and, I might add, was placed on hold for 11 minutes only to be shut down! She wrote a song and even sold "O" magazines in her show's gift shop.

Ellen had several mock-ups made in an effort to convince Oprah that sharing the magazine cover would be a great idea. As Ellen reminded Oprah, "I believe that when you dream it and conceive it, you can have it and achieve it." Truer words were never spoken. I say congrats to you Ms. DeGeneres!
