Feeling Lost Without Lost? Check Out These Videos & Links

Posted on 14 May 2009 by Kirstie

Last night, ABC aired the season five finale of Lost, and, while a few questions were answered, viewers were also left more confused than ever as the episode introduced new twists and turns and ended on one of the most intriguing cliffhangers of all time. ABC was happy to provide fans with a cruel reminder at the end of the show that the saga won’t be continued until 2010. The 8+ month wait will be excruciating for die-hard fans, but here are a few funny Lost videos and some great links to fill that void in the meantime.

MADtv Does Lost
Though I’m of the firm belief that Saturday Night Live is vastly superior to MADtv, this sketch perfectly captures the essence of Lost. I especially love the polar bear.

Lost Meets Twilight
I never thought I’d see the day when Lost and Twilight had anything in common, but this “trailer” manages to blend the two to present the breathtaking love story of John Locke and Benjamin Linus.

Jack’s Not Crying
Ever notice that Jack seems to cry all the freaking time? In fact, fans have even given a name to this phenomenon: Jears. This video, which combines Lost and Flight of the Conchords wants to make sure you know that Jack’s not crying! It’s just raining on his face!

Secrets of Lost
Michael Emerson (Ben) reveals a gripping Lost secret on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Check out this link for more of these shocking revelations, as well as some other funny Lost videos.

The Ack Attack – Ack provides hilarious and witty recaps of each episode that will give you a whole new perspective on the show. The occasional Lost/Arrested Development crossover jokes she throws in are particularly amusing.

Lostpedia – Everything you could ever possibly want to know about Lost in a wiki. It’s great for clarifying the show’s most convoluted plot twists and also presents interesting theories.

Dispatches from the Island – Hurley (Jorge Garcia, that is) blogs!

The Official Lost Podcast – Though executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse are experts at concealing Lost secrets, they give behind-the-scenes glimpses and answer burning questions in this podcast.

Lost addicts, what did you think of last night’s finale? What are your favorite Lost videos and links? Good luck surviving the off-season!
