"I Pledge" Picked Up By The CW
"2009 promises to be a historical and exciting year filled with lots of hope, change and community service. To encourage ever greater levels of service throughout the country, MySpace and Katalyst Media, a production company co-founded by Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg, teamed up with celebrities to record their personal pledges of service, in an online video called "I Pledge." The moving pledges illustrate how they will help make the nationwide change, inspired by President-elect Barack Obama, a reality. Directed by Demi Moore, the video was presented to President-elect Barack Obama during the inauguration festivities"
The CW is developing a tv series in which the show will follow the stars in this video, such as Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, Cameron Diaz, Dakota Fanning, Nicole Richie, Joel Madden, Eva Mendes, Ashlee Simpson, and P-Diddy, just to name a few, as they highlight causes they believe in and to help solve our world's problems in the process.
I think that this is a great idea, as long as Speidi has nothing to do with it because you know they are only about helping themselves no matter what they say about wanting to be missionaries.
