Kris Allen Is Your New American Idol!

Posted on May 21, 2009 - 8:09am by alexa So last night on the American Idol finale, Kris Allen unexpectedly beat out judges' favorite Adam Lambert to win the title of the next American Idol.  When Ryan Seacrest asked Kris how it felt to win, Kris replied, "It feels good, but Adam deserves this."

Apparently this year had a record breaking 100 million votes cast for the season finale!  People must have really liked these two guys.

Check out the video below of Ryan naming Kris the winner of American Idol, and also pay attention to the 2:14 mark right after Kris's name is announced, there is a boy in the background of this video who sees that Kris has won on the TV and repeatedly screams "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" over and over and over again.  Ah, I love youtube.
